Planet Swirl is built around people connecting with people. The conversations. The chemistry. The friendships. The couples you meet. The people you travel to see again. The relationships that begin here.
We've watched two people who probably would've passed each other on the street without ever speaking end up sitting together, sharing a drink and laughing. That's the kind of connection we're talking about, and it's what separates a lifestyle event for couples and singles from just another party.

What Should I Expect at My First Planet Swirl Event?
Come Without the Script
Come expecting one thing: to have a good time. Whatever that ends up looking like.
Don't decide beforehand who should approach you, what should happen, or what has to happen for the weekend to count as a win. If your plan is to walk in and have everybody orbit you, you've got a better chance of winning the lottery twice.
The moment you put a target on the weekend, you spend the whole thing chasing that target instead of noticing what's actually happening around you.
Come open. Meet people. Participate.

Planet Swirl isn't a room full of people waiting to orbit you. Connection has to be reciprocal.

We intentionally build our hotel takeover events with opportunities that take the friction out of meeting people. But you still have to meet us halfway.
You have to participate in your own experience.
How Should I Handle Attraction and Rejection?
Act Like You've Been Here Before
See somebody you're attracted to? Be cool. Talk to them like a person.
If somebody finds you attractive, appreciate it. Don't weaponize it, and don't assume interest means you're owed anything.
If somebody isn't interested, that's life. Be respectful, say okay, keep enjoying your weekend. There are plenty of people to meet.
Confidence is welcome. Entitlement isn't.
What Are the Expectations Around Consent?
Consent Is Everything
No means no.
Being at a Planet Swirl event isn't consent. Flirting isn't consent. Attraction isn't consent. Something that happened earlier doesn't mean anything about what happens next. And anybody can change their mind at any time.
Respect and consent aren't just policies at our events. They're the foundation of lifestyle event etiquette everywhere, and we hold that standard at every hotel takeover we run.
Consent isn't just a rule here. It's part of how we treat each other.
What Does Interracial Mean at Planet Swirl?
Interracial Connection Is Part of Our DNA
Planet Swirl started because the space we wanted didn't exist. Interracial people and couples could attend lifestyle events, but too often we felt like a subsection of somebody else's environment. The music didn't feel like us. The culture didn't feel like us.
So we created that environment.
When we say interracial, we mean interracial. Black men and White women. White men and Black women. Black men and Hispanic women. Hispanic men and Asian women. Asian men and Black women. White men and Asian women. Black women and Hispanic men. Every combination of adults whose attraction crosses racial and cultural lines.
Planet Swirl has never been about one specific pairing.
It's about interracial connection.
What Makes the Planet Swirl Community Different?
The Weekend Ends. The Connections Don't Have To.
Community isn't just everybody being in the same hotel at the same time. It's what happens after.
People meet at Planet Swirl and become friends. They travel together. They visit each other in different cities. Social circles cross. Somebody you didn't know at check-in can become somebody you're planning another trip with months later.
The event creates the opportunity. The people create the community.
What Makes a Planet Swirl Hotel Takeover Different?
Leave the Outside World Outside
The idea isn't just putting a party inside a hotel. It's temporarily creating another world inside it.
You meet somebody at check-in, see them again that night, run into them the next morning, talk at the pool, meet their friends. Eventually the hotel stops feeling like a hotel. Strangers stop feeling quite so strange.
Somebody expresses a side of themselves they don't normally show. Somebody makes a lifelong friend. Somebody has one hell of a weekend. Then everybody checks out and goes back to regular life.
But for a little while, we created our own world.
Planet Swirl Isn't for Everybody.
It's for people who value connection.
You don't need to be the loudest person in the room. You don't need to be the most experienced. You don't need to look a certain way. And you definitely don't need to walk in expecting the room to revolve around you.
